Just Keep Watching
Den kommersiella dansstilen möter gokart i vår koreografi till Tate McRae och F1 formula´s låt Just Keep Watching. Farten och spänningen i den nya filmen tog vi med oss in i vår koreografi och samtidigt passade vi på att samskapa med en av Varbergs entreprenörer, Kristian Andersen.
Sommarens dansläger erbjöd allt utöver det vanliga! Nio elever deltog under de sex dagar då jag höll i dansläger med fokus på de stilarna jazz, contemporary och commercial. Under veckan hann eleverna lära sig denna koreografin till Just Keep Watching, de hann även skapa en egen koreografi tillsammans och så hann vi uppträda med dessa på Ullared Sommarscen som fyllde mer än 1000 personer på plats.
Under lägrets sista dag ägnade vi stor del av att filma vår koreografi på Varbergs Gokart som ägs och drivs av Kristian Andersen. Kristian blev taggad på idén direkt och gav oss både utrymme och mycket tid för oss att filma på deras Gokartbana. Tack Kristian för ett gott samarbete och att du gav mig och mina elever möjligheten att uppleva något helt nytt. Jag vill varmt rekommendera er att åka förbi Varbergs Gokart och köra deras fina bilar, räkna med att bli bemött med glada miner och härlig entusiasm!

ENGLISH TRANSLATION
The commercial dance style meets go-karting in our choreography to Tate McRae and F1 Formula’s song Just Keep Watching. We brought the speed and excitement of the new movie into our choreography, and at the same time, we had the chance to co-create with one of Varberg’s entrepreneurs, Kristian Andersen.

This summer’s dance camp offered more than the ordinary! Nine students participated during the six days when I hosted a camp focused on jazz, contemporary, and commercial dance styles. During the week, the students learned this choreography to Just Keep Watching, they also created their own choreography together, and we performed both pieces at Ullared Sommarscen in front of more than 1,000 people.

On the camp’s final day, we spent a large part of the time filming our choreography at Varbergs Gokart, which is owned and run by Kristian Andersen. Kristian loved the idea right away and generously gave us both space and plenty of time to film on their go-kart track. Thank you, Kristian, for the great collaboration and for giving me and my students the chance to experience something completely new. I warmly recommend stopping by Varbergs Gokart to try their fantastic cars—expect to be welcomed with smiles and genuine enthusiasm!
